Piazza dell’ Anfiteatro – the city’s center with cafes and shops

Lucca is one of the cities located in the Tuscany region and is known for its well-preserved Renaissance walls surrounding the city. Take a good walk around the wall before you explore the center.

I wish I could tell you more but I have to admit we didn’t get any tour guides and we opted to walk around the city and found some interesting finds.

I heard Lucca also hosts the Lucca Comics and Games festival, one of Europe’s largest festivals so you can also check that one out!
